The mounting cradle contains a built-in amplified speaker thereby allowing you to hear your GPS voice commands, MP3 music, digital books, Pocket PC Films, and other audio above the noise of the road. Combined with the large assortment of ARKON mounting pedestals, this family of products proves ideal for the mobile computing road warrior enthusiast."

These are good. I have one and love it - very handy for GPS usage, but the speaker doesn't have enough "oomf" for music, in my opinion.

Nope. Too bad, too. I'm getting a GPS and need a mount. Any other suggestions?

The review on the ProClip looked pretty good, I thought. And I believe they "support" the Jornadas (it's not powered though, but there's also the Moonlight Technologies car adapter)

For all you Jornada owners.....check out item PX005 at the bottom of http://www.pharosgps.com/products/ac...CCESSORIES.htm I can confirm that if you get an item that has a Dell power plug this adapter will let you power a Jornada with it. The Seidio mount, which looks a whole lot like the Arkon one, certainly fits my Jornada well.

Default Arkon windshield pedestals

When I bought the Arkon powered mount... they told me the windshield suction pedestal would not come off the windshield... They were right! It is super strong. They have a ton of different pedestals to choose from. http://www.arkon.com/pedestals.html

Including the obligatory Mounting Pedestal for Bicycles. Remember, safety first!
