mToken: Terminal Emulator for Pocket PCs This terminal emulator for Pocket PCs looks pretty cool: it has several features to make it easier to use remote telnet/serial/TAPI services, including a special compressed font, a menu of common macros (keystroke sequences) as well as a host of other features.

Personally, I'd love to see ssh support, myself; if you need to access mainframe or other host-based solutions, though, you might want to check this out.

Janak you just reminded me the good old DOS days when i used Norton Commander with that screenshot. But now i use an equivalent windows version which kicks some ass ( Servant Salamander )
SSH support would be nice, i could control my game server from wherever i am

This is very cool! I almost came to tears when it reminded me of the good old simple DOS days

But really, this is very handy and it shows that the Pocket PC can be an excellent diagnostic tool.

Scarily enough, a similar tool exists in most Linux distributions nowadays called Midnight Commander ; the command is "mc", and it looks almost exactly the same. People just loved that user interface.

if i go Start->run then type MC the Midnight Commander will apear
I guess cygwin adds a lot to the windows xp command prompt. Its nice to use "ls" instead of dir in windows command prompt |

I've used pocket TTY both with the Dell and my Jornada, quite servicable....and if you only need to quick-check/quick-change via terminal, the free version is full featured, but only connects for 5 min sessions (which is how I use it).

One thing to keep in mind for those who want to use these packages via serial communications........turn off your IR's search mode before using the app. Some terminal packages I've tried cripple your IR by loading a serial driver/agent in your start group. Make sure you're willing to take the possible tweaking of your PPC to use some of these type of apps.
