Toshiba Pocket PC Owners Get Foldable Keyboard
BargainPDA has info on a new nearly-fullsized keyboard for the Toshiba e330, e335 and e740 series. I would bet the e310 is included in that mix, but call before you order.

It is available in Toshiba's online store for $79.99.

I got one and it is GREAT! It is the same keyboard that Compaq brands as its own also! Same one Dell is planning on branding and selling also. I am pretty sure it will NOT work on the Toshiba e310, just as the thumb keyboard for Toshiba e330/e740 (www.pdajunkie.net/thumbkeyboard.htm) does NOT work with the Toshiba e310 due to usb hosting issues. The e310 does NOT contain usb hosting abilities, whereas the e330 and e740 do. I think that is how both of these companies got around the Toshiba models not having a serial port.
Have a good day!

folding keyboard e740
Can this keyboard be used with an extended battery? I've posted numerous places but you're the first I've run across who actually has one.

Do you really find yourself using a keyboard very much (as opposed to your desktop)? If so, what are some things you use it for :?:

I use my PPC to take notes in class and in meetings, to write papers for class assignments (edit later on desktop), and when i have to be away from my office i use my ppc as my desktop. Email, IM, terminal services to run the servers, web browser to find info, and access to keep track of my work requests. All of this goes alot faster with a keyboard. But when i am up and moving it is good old character recognizer for me.
People say i use my PPC too much... 8O Is that possible?

I was hoping for an e310 keyboard... one of my children has one and it would be put to good use at school. Perhaps it is time to sell it on eBay and move to an Axim for her.

e310 keyboard
The Pocketop Keyboard is listed as working with the e310 and I have it working on my e740. It is marketed in the USA as a Micro Inovations Keyboard with Pocketop the name in Canada. However, when you get it, do NOT use the CD Rom software. Go to www.pocketop.net and download the Version 1.6 software from there.

I want this keyboard. It has a built in mouse.
Targus thumb keyboard
I cannot find drivers for this anywhere. Any one have any ideas? It is not even on targus' site and no drives from Toshiba either.
These keyboards are just standard usb keyboards from what i gather. This one has a mouse that supports a pointer. Which means the have a new USBHID.DLL file that displays a mouse cursor. So if one were to install the drives for this keyboard any mouse you plug in should now display a pointer.
But i can't find the drives... even the new dll would be enough...
