Just wanted to stop by and say hello. I'm from Brazil and an enthusiastic wireless surfer! :lol:
Well, GSM/GPRS networks just started down here, working at 1800Mhz, allowing all of us to use all the european mobile phones available. We do have TDMA and CDMA networks as well, with CDMA 1xRTT implementation on the main cities (S�o Paulo, Belo Horizonte e Rio de Janeiro).
In constrast to TDMA and CDMA networks that have authorization to offer services in regions delimited by our FCC, GSM has one company authorized to work nationally - Telecom Italia Mobile. I have a t68i that use in companion with my 3970. BT+GPRS makes surfing on the internet a bliss.
