Compaq adds international versions of 387x ROM

Default Compaq adds international versions of 387x ROM

David Baldauff noticed that Spanish, French and German versions of the 2.20 ROM for iPAQ 3870/3875 series devices have been released. Still no sign of the ROM update for the 385x/383x devices. Pure speculation on my part - I wonder if they are integrating EUU2 into that ROM and that is the cause for delay? The one for the 387x only includes EUU1.

The staggered releases are frustrating for everyone, but I guess it's a matter of limited resources...?

Default "international' versions for 387x users but no 3850 upd
What's wrong with HP/Compaq? they release "international" versions but not the 3850/35 update? How long do WE have to wait for that release?

Honestly, they need to get their head out of a certain place and get on with things.

but, again, just my .02.

I'm gonna get the EUU2 doesn't make it in there. I think they just don't care about their customers. Notice how they got the 39xxs to market in quantity before they bothered fixing what was wrong with the 38xxs. To date, they still haven't fixed most of the problems with the 38xx.

Instead, their answer seems to be, "Buy a new one."
