Default Remote Access software for your Pocket PC

http://www.socketcom.com/about/press/pr20604a.htm

Socket Communications and 01 Communique have partnered up to bring you remote access software to your Pocket PC. Socket Communications will be bundling the I'm InTouch software with their 56K CF Modems, Low Power WLAN Cards, Digital Phone Cards, Low Power Ethernet, 10/100 Ethernet Cards, and Bluetooth Connection Kits. The software allows you do the following:

Get Outlook / Outlook Express live data access -- no more synchronization need
Read attachment and compose email with attachment from local/network drives
Add wireless notification to any device - similar to RIM Blackberry experience
 Video streaming

"Beginning in June, a trial version of 01's I'm InTouch software will be included on a CD with each unit of Socket's products, introducing the productivity benefits of remote access to a ready audience of mobile workers. Current Socket customers who want to obtain a 30-day trial version of I'm InTouch should visit Socket's website www.socketcom.com/thirdparty/"

Default "Live" Outlook access?

I'm not sure I understand what they mean by that. I get what I would call "live" access to my e-mail via my 56k CF modem on my iPaq 3630 w/PPC2k2. I have Earthlink as my ISP, so no matter where I go I'm able to dial-up, surf, send/receive e-mail and my attachments with no problem. The only limitation I have is the size of attachments (since the 3630 only had 32MB of RAM and I'm not using a dual sleeve). The other features, however, of the In Touch software are attractive.
