Default The best retro game ever: RAMPAGE!

http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&platformId=2&productType=2&catalog=0&sectionId=0&productId=31922

One of my all-time favourite arcade games, Rampage, has come to the Pocket PC! I couldn't begin to count the hours I spent playing this game...what a classic! The reproduction looks perfect, so my bet is they used the original ROM image. The developer, iobox, has quite a few games up on Handango if you're looking for other retro games.

"Just like the original! You are the monster ? choose from George the ape, Lizzie the giant dinosaur, or Ralph the giant werewolf. Now, unleash your fury as you rage through city after city of helpless civilians, destroying anything and everything in your wake. Look out for the energy boosters to help restore your flagging strength. Take on the Soldiers, Tanks and Helicopters and dodge the bullets, dynamite and tank shells. Escape from the authorities, which are out to destroy you, then move on to the next metropolis in the next level as you go on the rampage?"

Neato! But 20 bucks seems kinda steep. Is this version the same as the NES version?

I kind of remember the arcade version. It was too repetitive. There is very little change from level to level. You just chop, eat, demolish building and then do the same thing over. You can get bored very quickly.
