Default Online Tonight with Dave Lawrence

This might not be news to all of you, but David Lawrence has a great radio show, and he also has an iPAQ that he loves talking about. Derek Brown and Beth Goza are on quite often talking about what Microsoft is doing. Robert Bogue, author of Mobilize Yourself, was also on recently talking about his book and Pocket PCs. The show is really entertaining to listen to, and you can download digital versions of the show to listen to on your device. The link above goes to the recent show where Derek Brown talks about Smartphone 2002 and Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition. Great show!

You just have to listen to part four where Derek Brown gets taught how to day the letter "W". It was a nice plug for this site and turned into a hilarious lesson in pronunciation...and just for the record, Robert Bogue (who hosts the DNS records for this site) has fixed things so you don't need to type WWW in front of pocketpcthoughts.com any longer.

So anyone think I'd be an interesting radio guest? ;-)

I don't seen it being mentioned here or at the referenced site but...

Here in the bay area, its located on 910 on your AM radio. You can listen to it "live" also at http://www.cnetradio.com and it starts at 7:00 PM Pacific every Tuesday.

'Been listening here for a 4 weeks now :-)

Admins (Jason and company)... this is my third account already here in the forums section and my first 2 keep on saying that its inactive (johncruise and joellecruz). I know I activated it when I received the email. In any case, could you reset the status of at least the first one (johncruise)? I'd really appreciate it. TIA.

Best to email me privately about things like this, but I've activated johncruise, deleted joellecruz, and left your current posting account alone. :-)

That is nothing. There was a song (50's or 60's) called "I am my own grandpa" - http://www.newyorkancestry.com/i_am_my_own_granpaw.htm - that was a real song - not a parody. Too funny.

Number one question asked of a lawyer in TN: "So, if I divorce my wife, will we still be cousins?"

My favourite country redneck song name is "I hate every bone in your body except mine" (it's real, I swear!)

I think it's good that Online-tonight is doing a bit on PPC. But for those of you who think it will be focused and concentrated you're wrong. The segment is filled with all sorts of babble. Of course, that's Dave Lawrence's style and he probably won't change. It's best to avoid listening to the live show and later on simply download the .wma files for segments 3 and 4. It takes that long before anything of substance is mentioned about PPC.

Last Tuesday they did briefly take up phone edition and smart phone.

I've never heard your voice before, but if you sound as sophisticated, humble, funny, personable, and friendly as you write, Online Tonight with David Lawrence should be honored to have you as their guest.

I look forward to it!
