Default Creating DVD menu's - which software?

Hi there,

I'm pretty new to Digital Video but I've been having great fun with my Sony Camcorder, making movies and burning VCD's.

I've just been using Windows Movie Maker which I appreciate is pretty basic (but dead easy!) and I think it's time for me to upgrade to something more powerful as I've just bought a DVD burner.

DVD menu's are something I'm interested in and I'm interested as to what software people are using.

Would you recommend a stand-alone solution for producing menu's (does such a thng exist?) or would the integrated capabilities of something like Pinnacle be sufficient?

I've had a trawl round the web but I'm finding it difficult to assess the capabilities of various bits of software on this one feature.

TIA!

Iain.
