Default Toys: A Camera That Tracks You And Picture Frames That Talk

"Sick of looking at still pictures? Put a little motion into your life. The latest crop of consumer gadgets on the market includes tools for displaying and capturing images that move and talk. Digi-Frame, for example, is offering an LCD photo frame that brings your pictures to life. And the QuickCam Orbit Web camera by Logitech can follow your face--up, down, and sideways."

For those of you looking for birthday gifts, or early Mother's Day or Father's Day presents, or toys for Friday ;-), here is a small list of ideas. Most interesting of all are the two right on top - Logitech's QuickCam Orbit which can take pictures or help you videoconference as you move; and the Digi-Frame DF-1710 frame that can move and talk while hanging on a wall, by playing mpeg files and wav/mp3s. Other products include the Evolve Solutions' Guide universal remote, the Shure E3C headset which is a set of very nice noise cancelling earbuds, the Targus's Elite series bags that have built-in air cushions to protect its contents and the Rio Nitrus 4GB MP3 player.

Nifty toys, if only I had money to spare... ;-)
