sync, that is.
How the heck do I make the 2.0 software not send stuff to my device? In the settings under "sync options" I most certainly have "Let me choose my music" selected.
However, anything I add to my collection on the PC automatically gets synced to the device.
And, of course, because the software sucks, it's almost impossible to ferret out where all the rogue music went, to get the content of the device back to where I want it.
So the only thing the software is useful for is syncing. It cannot be used to manage a collection unless the collection is entirely synced to the device.
