firmware request: "mark as played" for podcasts/videos
Aside from the obvious problem with auto/smart playlists, what else is missing from the current hardware firmware?
The only other thing I have come up with so far is the absence of a "mark as played" option for podcasts/videos...
In other words, if I start an hourlong podcast or 2-hour movie and decide to *not* finish it because I don't like it...how can I get rid of it from the device?
Right now I have to just hold down the fastforward all the way to the end...
Why is this important to me? Because I use an a/v dock to trigger wireless syncs every night. Items I have listened to are removed, and new episodes are downloaded. I never have to touch the desktop software or connect the zune30 to the PC for this to work.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I know it's beating a dead horse, but the improved firmware only intensifies the need for MS to add audible book support to the zune! Please, please just buy Audible.com already!
