HP Working on a Windows Mobile Smartphone
"Easily comparable to pictures that I have seen of the SP5, but an HP! It was running WM 5.0 and had a 320x240 screen... wifi, BT 1.2 i believe, 1.3 MP cam, dont know about internal memory, but he did have a 1gb minisd card under the battery. and model # xb4500 (do NOT quote me on the first 2 letters, i was adrinkin... but positive on the 4500). It was much thicker than my E398, yet seemed to be contoured (sp?) around the back. around the front edge was a chrome lining, a very nice touch. He said it was a prototype"
We've heard rumors of a HP Smartphone before, but this is the first pictures. It appears to be the same as the i-mate SP5 but rebranded as HP. It sure would be nice to see some of the Pocket PC companies try their hands at a Smartphone. Let's hope this becomes more than just a prototype. Check out the post on Howard Forums for another picture. Unfortunately, it's just as blury - dang those low cost/quality camera phones.
Update: There are now some new crisp/clear pictures over at Howard Forums, for your enjoyment. Just follow the links above to view the new pictures.
