MPX 220 Startup and shutdown screen

Default MPX 220 Startup and shutdown screen
I just bought a mpx220, and love it. The rom update is great. However is there a way to get the cingular screen not to come up on start up and shutdown. I tried going into the windows folder and deleting the image but is just gave me a error "unable to delete" message
