Default StyleFi Music Sphere - Portable Speakers

http://www.mobilewhack.com/reviews/stylefi_music_sphere_portable_wireless_speakers.html

"Oregon Scientific today introduced StyleFi, a stylish wireless remote speaker, CD shelf system and portable music station. Wirelessly play music 100 away from your MP3 player, iPod, stereo system or TV."

This doesn't look very portable to me. It's like carrying a couple tennis balls in your back pocket. There has to be a better design for these. Does anyone know of a good set of flat portable speakers, wireless or not? Something that might fit in your laptop bag, or luggage a little easier than these.

I have a couple of things, but my favorite is my Sony SRS-T33
http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTE...U=SRST33SILVER

They are not blow your socks off sound quality, but they are pretty good and about as portable as it gets. They use two AAA batteries, the cord winds in a track and is captured by a door that serves as a stand. They are about as big as two twinkies stuck together. They can be loud enough to hear throughout an Embassy Suite, but you're unlikely to be able to get neighbors to complain.

I also have a set of Sony SRS-T77, http://www.hififorless.com/showProdu...77344a80667c8a
These sound great, but you pay for that in size. They are about the size of a paperback book, but significantly heavier. They use 4 AAs, there's some of the weight. They aslo come with an AC adapter, which of course you are tempted to carry along. But they sound great. I think you could get neighbors to complain.

Then there is the Si Technologies SI-5 http://www.si-technologies.com/front...p?productID=28 which are nice but have two many things to keep track off. Sound decent though, but not as good as the T77s. I think they tie with the T33s but the sound quality is different.

Si does have some other interesting things though. Look at the Gen1.5 http://www.si-technologies.com/front...p?productID=31 I don't have these, but they seem pretty compact for travel, if you leave the adapter home. They seem about the same size as the Sony T77 though.

Bottom line...the T33 goes with me on trips.
