Bluetooth ActiveSync and Bluetooth Headset conflict
Im having a problem with my Bluetooth ActiveSync since I bought my Bluetooth headset for my MPx 220.
Several months ago, with help of this forum, I successfully setup activesync for my MPx 220 over Bluetooth with one button access. I spent some time getting it right but it has worked flawlessly since. Whenever I am at the computer I press the autodial button, turn on activesync to continuously sync and dont disconnect until I leave or shut down the computer. This has worked very well for me.
Got a Motorola Bluetooth headset, HS820, set it up and really like it. Then
I activesync with my PC (and stay connected) and everything is fine until I use the headset. It works fine for a few seconds then activesync disconnects and the headset disconnects. Bluetooth is being turned OFF by itself on the phone.
I spent many hours figuring out what was happening creating LOTS of my own mistakes along the way digging myself deeper into a hole finally getting everything back to normal. (I had forgotten how many settings you need to have right to make it work)
Is there anyway to work around this so Bluetooth on the phone does not get turned off while connected via activesync and use the headset? If I do not turn off activesync before using the headset, Bluetooth gets turned off making the headset useless during the call. Yet to turn off activesync I have to shut down either the phone or the PC. Id really like to leave activesync on all the time.
One solution I have installed is the app BTAutoSync SP which automatically syncs and then disconnects via BT but if I happen to get a call while this is syncing (each sync takes several minutes) my headset is useless and Bluetooth on the phone gets turned off.
Thanks
