ATT version smt 5600 freezes up regularly

Default ATT version smt 5600 freezes up regularly
This is the third one I've had - they've all regularly frozen up when disconnected from usb cord after synching thru AS3.7 or AS 3.8.

I use XP.

It also freezes from time to time thru normal usage. I've started to use the phone's task manager to close processes not needed, but still get freezes.

Your ideas or suggestions are welcome. :idea:
