Default SK-EarthLink to Offer WiFi/VoIP Enabled Mobile Phone

http://www.mobiletracker.net/archives/2005/05/02/voip-wifi-cell-phone

"SK-EarthLink, the upcoming 3G mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), is rumored to have a WiFi enabled handset in its future. The phone will function as a normal mobile handset unless in the range of a WiFi hotspot and then it will use Voice over IP technology to make phone calls for a lower price."

Don't hold your breath waiting for this to come to North America. We can't even get Verizon or Cingular to give us phones that don't have crippled Bluetooth let alone a way to bypass their networks to make a call and save money.
