TiVo Releases iPhone Native App

"TiVo lived up to earlier clues and on Tuesday posted an iPhone-native version of its iOS app (free, App Store). The now universal app provides the same DVR scheduling, content browsing, and remote control as on the iPad but in a more condensed form that also works on the iPod touch. The only missing feature is support for a flick-to-play gesture that works only on the iPad's larger screen."

I loved the TiVo I used to have, and wish I had one now. Dish Network DVRs suck, but that is another story! Anyway, for you lucky TiVo owners, the app supports Premiere Series 4 DVRs, as well as limited support for Series 3 including the TiVo HD and HD XL. Sorry Android owners, your app will come later!
