I'm so bloody mad! (WP7 Restore)
So my LG Optimus 7 died, and got a PCB replacement. The result is now the Zune software treats it as a totally new phone and I've lost almost everything on it. I did get back my gamertag and a few apps, but not all of them, and my contact list is not restored.
This is an absolute failure; why is backup/restore not tied 100% to the Live account? Android will now save just about everything to the cloud as well, and Apple's iTunes (while still crap to me) will also restore everything. Right now I'm just so hopping mad at this failure that I feel like tossing the phone into the bin.
