Default HyperMac is Back With Their External Batteries

http://www.9to5mac.com/44051/hyperm...e+Intelligence)

"Remember HyperMac's awesome external battery packs for Mac notebooks? Remember how Apple made HyperMac cease sales of the devices due to the use of Apple's Magsafe technology? Well now the chargers are finally back and HyperMac's compromise with Apple is clear based upon how these new versions work."

The problem when they were pulled was due to the connector between the batteries and the MacBook, since HyperMac was using Apple's Magsafe technology and Apple put the legal eagles on the trail. To avoid this, they require you to purchase a Magsafe adapter from Apple that goes between the HyperMac battery and your MacBook. Problem is it doesn't actually charge your MacBook, it just allows you to use the battery's charge to keep you going, but in a pinch it's better than not having any power at all. According to HyperMac this is a temporary fix so stay tuned.
