Default WiFi Connectivity

Hello all. I am a Canadian and have recently switched to Telus and the LG Optimus 7. After using the device for a few days the search button stuck and I had to replace the unit.

Before replacing the unit I was able to connect to a variety of wireless networks. Since replacing the unit I am no longer able to connect to any wireless network.

After searching the Internet I've found that this issue is known but only for the Dell and only in the US. I'm not able to find any info regarding Canadians having this issue or any other phone either.

The networks I've tried are secured and have their SSID broad-casted. The same networks were used with the old unit and the new one.

I plan on going back to Telus to replace the unit once again and making sure that the unit will connect to their secured WiFi before leaving.

Are any of you experiencing this? I would guess at this being an OS software issue since it appears to be a problem on more than one type of hardware.

Geordie
