Default Robert Scoble on Windows Phone 7

http://scobleizer.com/2010/11/08/wh...rs-first-looks/

Robert Scoble over at Scobleizer.com posted recently on why he thinks Windows Phone 7 will be a success. Chief among those reasons is the development environment and the support available from Microsoft. Robert also gives a list of things that mobile companies (Apple, Google) can learn from Windows Phone developers. Hit the link for his thoughts as well as a couple of video demonstrations of Windows Phone 7 apps.

Come on now.... you can't just drop those links without giving your opinion of Windows Phone and it's features. Do you agree with the articles you referenced? Do you have a Windows Phone or were you swayed by the negative sentiment in articles like those?

The beauty of the internet is that it is always possible to find links to contrary opinions. That was not the point of the OP, but oh well.

I had a HD7 before and now I have a Samsung Focus so I am quite knowledgeable about the matter:

The platform has potential, a huge potential actually, but right now is an aunfinished product; it is upt MS to eplit to its full potential. And what I mean is not just adding features and prove how the whole updates saga will really be, they will need to change some of the basic concepts like the way to sync the devices for example. If they will create an appealing marketplace people will use it; trying to force customers to do it will only backfire on MS.
