Default Gizmodo Examines RockMelt

http://gizmodo.com/5684524/what-is-...kyline=true&s=i

"New browsers might be hatched almost every day, but new browsers that sound like a sandwich one might find in Philadelphia-and that everybody seems to be talking about-don't. What is RockMelt? As you might guess when you fire up RockMelt for the first time, it's a browser built on top of Chromium-the open source project that powers Google Chrome. Which means RockMelt is really, really fast, even with all of the sharing stuff on top of it. In fact, it's kind of like Chrome, but with super-duper extensions for Facebook and Twitter."

Rockmelt is a new browser built on a Google Chrome framework, and headed up by Marc Andreessen who was the founder of Netscape all those years ago.  Rockmelt isn't a standard browser though as it aims to bring all your social sites together to make it easier to share links, videos and social networking updates with your friends.  Have a watch of the video to get a better understanding of the idea behind this and see if would replace your existing browser.
