I found a great travel stand for my iPad. Check it out here. iPad Stand \| Portable Travel Stand for Apple iPad \| Desktop Stand for iPad \| iPad Stand for Airplane I've purchased a few things from Arkon in the past, and always check their site when I'm looking for car mounts and such for new toys. Always been pleased with their stuff. I noticed their iPad stand and figured I'd give it a shot. Love it. It is pretty lightweight, and extremely sturdy and stable, whether holding the iPad landscape or portrait. It is a bit low in Portarait to have the connector at the bottom, but you can always flip the iPad so the connector comes out the top. I'd have no qualms about sitting this on an airline tray to watch a video. It has detents and friction to hold the arm in about any position so you can lean the iPad back ot get it almost vertical. Folded up it is about excatly the same length as the shorter iPad dimension. It's about an inch square in cross section.
