Default A way to parse embedded video links?

OK. SO we have Coreplayer or OEM solutions that can run .FLV but unless you know where the file is being hosted directly it is useless. If for example, you were to attempt to run http://forums.thoughtsmedia.com/f396...rs-100763.html
You couldn't run it unless you searched through the players search menu for the video on YouTube. If it was hosted elsewhere. no luck.

What about other sites that have similar setups. Has anyone discovered how to work with parsing the flash embedded links so that once you have the link it could be reopened within Coreplayer?

I seem to remember that Windows Media player and CorePlayer have limited parsing capability but I can't get it to work.

... anyone come up with a solution?
