Great piece Don. I was working with Isolated Storage in vb.net over the weekend and was extremely annoyed at how WP handles things a bit differently on the phone than in Silverlight, and at the fact that no code examples for WP7 have been updated for Visual Basic despite it being RTW'ed!
Thankfully my code is working now, and if I just remember to go back to my app via the back button instead of the start menu, I see my saved state!
