Jason, I agree with you - it is interesting. But I think it would be better if the straps had some elastic or rubber in them so that the stability comes where you decide to hold it and not just at your eye level. Suppose you need to look up or down for a shot. You wouldn't be able to if you had set the straps to eye level when you're looking straight ahead.
