4 out of 5 overall score sounds pretty good at first glance - but upon closer inspection one fines that the score for Still Image Quality is only 3.5/5.
Disappointing.
Trying to cram a high MP count onto a small sensor is an obvious route to disaster - but apparently Marketing requirements dictate that it be done.
May have to switch allegiance to Fuji: the FinePix HS10 sticks with 10MP & seems to provide much better image quality....
