Good point on the DDT - although apparently there were (are - ?) some exemptions allowing DDT usage in certain countries, and the whole malaria control / DDT usage question seems rather controversial (with strong advocates both Pro and Con concerning DDT!).
At least there is (presumably) little controversy over Hair-In-A-Can: the perfect product for the well-dressed but hair-challenged man!
