I do fear that Samsung is getting greedy with this device and will price it out of the market. 7" devices are not phones and should not be tied a carrier plan. If Apple is selling the base iPad at $499.00, they can't realistically expect to charge hundreds more for the competing product. They'll get some early adopters, but will chase most the market away.

Ya, I too, hope they keep the price competitive since I think the Tab has some promise in it. It would be silly for them to charge substantially more for a device similar to the competition and hope people pay it, unless they offer some incentive or don't charge a monthly subscription fee. But I'm sure their marketing people know this, so I guess we will have to wait a little longer for a confirmed price.
