I appreciate the link. Though I have to wonder what level the reviewer set each screen to (perhaps I missed it), assuming all of the devices were at maximum, the iPod touch certainly does have the upper hand. Odd that I still don't have any issue enjoying video in sunlight with the Zune HD (or iPod touch, when I had it). Perhaps the days that I've tested simply weren't as bright as the one used in your quoted review.
Regardless, I find it difficult to believe that someone would put value in any of those devices' daylight viewing ability to the point of differentiating one over the other. They're all unusable if that review is to be believed.
