HV20 - Firewire connection issues in Vista Home Premium
Hi Jason,
I've read many articles on the hv20 and issues with firewire connection under windows vista. You doesn't seem to have them. I'm running Vista home premium and I just can't get my hv20 talking to my pc. Should I get Vista ultimate?
I bought this brand new dv7000 laptop with pre-loaded OS and it seems like I should have all the drivers I need. I went to bestbuy and talked with a guy who tested the brand new HV30 and he told me that the firewire connection is not automatically recognized... I'm a bit disappointed and I feel like it's not a truly vista-certified device.
Have you any advices or clues why my firewire is not working? I'll keep on searching...
