Default Showing Respect To Your Device - Give It A Proper Burial

http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2008/01/29/show-some-respect-give-your-old-mobile-a-proper-burial/

"In a recent press release from Mobile Fun, it offers up the grandiose opportunity of having your aged cellphone buried somewhere in Russia, which will supposedly enable you to rest easy knowing your mobile is resting in peace halfway across the world. Granted, we could think of much more useful things to do with an unwanted mobile, but for those who just have let bygones be bygones, you can ship your handset over along with 20 ($40) and trust that it will be respectfully buried in the middle of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly. Best of all, you can even toss in an extra 5 ($10) to receive a "farewell SMS" right before it's laid to rest. Preposterous, we know, but there's no doubt someone will take 'em up on this spectacular offer."

That anyone would think of doing this is disturbing enough, but that someone went so far as to actually try and make a business of it is just crazy.

I have doubts about this honesty process: The Eastern European countries are "factory of recycling" of the products of America or Western Europe.
Your old phone will be a new phone for local population (yes it will be sell!) i've seen it in hungary.

But if someone want to offert his old phone...

Personally, I think the best "final resting place" for some of my old phones would be the mouth of a volcano, since virtually all of it's components came from the Earth; they should be returned to the Earth.

As a bonus, I would get to see them go - PFFFFT in the lava!

That would be totally hot!
