Problem reconnecting to router after turning off laptop
Hi,
I'm having a little problem with my laptop and wireless router at home.
I'm using a Linksys wireless router with my Dell XPS M1210.
Every time I hibernate or turn my laptop off, when turning it back on it reconnects to the router, but I get the "limited or no connectivity" balloon until I reboot my wireless router. I never had this problem with my Fujitsu laptop.
Any suggestions for this?
TIA

Try the network connections icon on the system tray and select repair. That should refresh the ip.
or start>run>cmd> at the prompt:ipconfig /all then enter.
If the IP is wrong.
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
