No, Windows Media Player cannot play MPEG, but PocketTV Enterprise Edition, which can, is bundled in the ROM of the 6315.
This "Commercial" version of PocketTV, normally sold for $50, has better performances than the free version (PocketTV Classic). So it's not a bad deal. And upgrades / new versions of PocketTV Enterprise Edition (with bug fixes and new features) are also free if you have the 6315.
