ctmagnus 5000+ Posts? I Should OWN This Site! Join Date: Aug 2006 Posts: 5,616		Windows 2000 Pro as streaming media server? I'm fiddling with IIS 5.0 and wondering if there's a way to set up Windows 2000 Professonal as a streaming media (MP3s and WMAs) server? I tried Windows Media Encoder 9 and it didn't seem like much help. What I would like to be able to do is access the media on the server from my Pocket PC (most likely via a Bluetooth connection, WiFi otherwise) or from another PC and play it there, without having to map a drive or create playlists that reference the content on the server.
