Default '1 unread e-mail' msg on Logon screen

Hi all, Windows XP system. When a user have multiple accounts within a single Windows XP system, he/she will be prompted with a Logon screen after the system had booted up right? This is to let the user select which account he/she wants to login as right?

Well, for one of the accounts, there's this message: '1 unread e-mail' stated below the account label. Had checked the respective e-mail account. & even though user had cleared all e-mails within that e-mail account, this message still persists everything the Logon screen appears.

Why is this so & how to resolve? Thanx in advance.

You have to check all email accounts registered. For example, if you use both Hotmail and Windows Messenger, new Hotmail email will appear as new messages on the logon screen.

Or, you can use TweakUI for XP and remove that message from the login screen...
