The camera shots were funny too. Looked too much like ST:TOS. Those close ups of Picard from about 45degrees below his face. Reminded me of the shots of Kirk when he was in trouble.
I wonder if they will offer season 2 in two flavors, with and without Pulaski. I'll take without thank you.

Star Trek; best of .... <pick your favorite character>
I would really like to see some discs burned that featured "best of" episodes for the various characters. Lets all admit it. We have our favorites.
I'm a big fan of Data myself. I thought that the "top 10" shown before the finally really shorted Data. His story lines were so unusual and out their. They really showed off Brent Spiner's acting talent at times.
Tin Man, Data-Lore, the "dreams" episode, the Data/Mark Twain two parter. The episode where Data loses his memory on an away mission was truly spectacular. The Sherlock-Homes episodes were by far the best "holedeck" episodes. BTW, Moriarty was just as great a villain in the 23rd century as he was in the nineteenth.
Anyway, I'm glad to see that they're no longer charging $15 for a single episdoe.

For those of you in the US if you have a Costco near you they have the set for $94.99. I got it tonight and I'm watching it right now. I haven't watched these episodes in forever and Jason is right; that first one is a hoot. 8O

Bah! I never did like TNG. It was too sanitized for my taste. And, come on...what military/science organization would place a therapist in the command and control structure of a ship? That's just crazy! What purpose does Troi even serve? Does she give Picard a shoulder to cry on when he makes bad decisions? :?
And who the hell designed the Enterprise-D? It looks ridiculous! It's a disgrace to the talented artists at ILM. The Excelsior looked much more sleek.
I'll take the new "Enterprise" series over TNG any day! 8)
