I believe that the simple way is to buy a DVB card (PCI or external USB) for your PC and plug the monitor into your PC?

Ok, maybe not exactly what you wanted. But to my knowledge, there is no simple way of connecting a DVB settopbox in a PC monitor using D-Sub. I know that some old computer monitors used to have seperate RGB-inputs which could you do just that by custom connecting a Scart-cable to such a monitor...

You can find SCART wiring here: http://www.leadsdirect.f9.co.uk/scart.htm
and here are wiring info for both D-Subs and SCART: http://www.acl.co.uk/pinouts.htm

There is some really hard work to get this working and I'm not that sure that a regular TFT can support SCART-to-D-sub right out of the box... But good luck anyways if you wish to try!

(PS. Don't forget to photograph the procedure for us! DS.)
