Actually, they announced that the white iPhone won't be available until later this year, which in Apple-speak most likely means Dec 31 (unless it gets delayed again).

After reading all the reports about the problems, I don't think Apple will even have it ready for this year! I'd like to be a fly on the wall in those meetings ;)
