The support forums at Apple already have posts about this problem, and with all the shortages, replacements are anyone's guess! Just the same, I'll be inspecting mine before I leave the Apple Store tomorrow.

I read an article today on either engadget or gizmodo that the yellow spot seems to be disappearing for those who had it. Some high mucky-muck for the company that manufactures the glue used in the laminating process says that the phones are going out so fast that the glue has not had the chance to completely set but that the use of the phone will hasten the process causing the yellow spot to disappear.

No problem with my screen, either. I also can't reproduce the signal loss issue that's getting so much press. I have mine in a Boxwave slip that will be on it just about all the time, so even if it was an issue, I'd probably never experience it anyway.

By the way, to celebrate the release of the iPhone 4, Boxwave is offering 7 of its cases for free... just the cost of shipping (for as little as $3.50 by USPS... they have faster and more expensive shipping as well). Limit 1 per customer.

It says for the next 72 hours, but it doesn't say when it started or when it will end. Anyway, several of the slip cases are great alternatives to the Bumpers that Apple is offering, IMO, and free is much better than $29.95. The quality is very nice on the Cyclone slip that I ordered right after pre-ordering my iPhone. Great protection that adds very little bulk.
