I've got to say, that's pretty damn clever. It actually makes the iPad appealing to me! :)

I think it is kind of neat. I have contemplated a BT keyboard for my iPad a bit and wondered what direction I should go. I have a MS BT keyboard 6000 ( http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=016 ) and it works fine with the iPad. Apple's own looks nice. Both though are a little big and I would need to come up with a way to carry them with the iPad without them scratching each other up. I have one or two folding BT keyboards for PDA use, and they work fine as well. They pack pretty small, but do eat batterries and don't really have a real keyboard feel. This think looks like it would make a pretty good keyboard solution and provide a semblence of protection as well. Couple that with it creating a nice stand for video viewing, it has some potential. If it is competatively priced, around that of the Apple BT keyboard or MS one, it would interest me.

I have seen some comments that folks would like to see a way to connect it to the dock, and maybe have it contain a batterry pack and possibly some USB support, i.e include features like Apple's adapters, but I think that would start driving the price up to where it becomes attractive to fewer people.
