Toshiba's Gigabeat V: Zune 2.0?

Why change something that works. The iPod design hasn't change in it's 5 Gen. of design. Run with what works. You know once you go change, there's a possibly that you'll lose people. Alot of people are opposed to change. If anything streamline the original design as much as possible and beef up the firmware and software, give us more reason to stick our tongues out at the iPod owners.:p

I would love true portable media center functionality in Zune 2.0! I'm an idiot- I paid $500 for a 1st gen PMC. Why? I thought that by supporting the device I'd help keep it alive for 2nd gen improvements and continuation of the product. We know how that came out -- MS has said Windows Mobile is the priority going forward. But if the work that was born out of PMCv1 would surface in Zune 2.0 I'd be all over it!

Meanwhile, I've brough my PMC out of the box and have started using it again. It has a lot that the Zune left out but oh how I miss the feel of the Zune in my hand/pocket.
