Does anyone know of any available applications that will allow me to share my Ipaq 4700's WIFI internet connection TO my laptop ?

The only one I've heard of so far is 'PocketPcProxy', and all the mobiz links are dead.

So if anyone knows of any new apps for this task or even if anyone knows of a mirror where 'PocketPcProxy' is still available I'd be very grateful.

Thanks!

I've also written a strictly HTTP-only proxy to do the job; see my dedicated article.

Wow! Thanks Menneisyys! I checked out your website and am a bit bewildered. So many apps and so much information. Could you provide a link to the specific article you mentioned ?

Thanks!

Here's an article that I wrote that has all the steps required:

Hope it helps!

Just a quick note: it's for sharing cellular connections, not Wi-Fi.

Yeah, you're right - ICS Control is also able to share your Wi-Fi connection.

I've published a tutorial of using it at http://forums.thoughtsmedia.com/f323/multiplatform-bible-using-your-handset-modem-89895.html

Note that it "only" explains how cellular connections can be used / shared; however, it introduces both ICS Control and WMWifiRouter.

Wow! This app looks great. I ended up upgrading my ipaq to one of the Winmo 6.0 roms (shoulda done it a long time ago...), but I haven't been able to get ICSControl to work yet. I've only just begun tinkering with t he bluetooth settings, but so far I'm not sure if I even have the DHCP server settings done correctly.

I very much appreciate the reccomendation though, and if you have any config or usage tips I'd love to hear those too...

Thanks everyone!
