My Phone Beta Contest is Over!

The contest was originally for two registration codes for Microsoft's latest mobile Beta program but luckily Jason was able to get a third code from one of his sources so we have <em>three</em> lucky winners to announce today! The triad of winners is <strong>rockcnu</strong>, <strong>jkovacs</strong> and <strong>leslietroyer</strong>. Congratulations to all of the winners! I want to thank everyone that took the time to send us their disaster stories and hopefully within the future we will not have to deal with annoyances like syncing errors.</p>

I ended up applying for one a couple of days and got an email tonight saying I was approved.

I think I will wait to see if there are any horror stories before I install and use it.

It helps to have a Hotmail account for approval.

Curious to see how this compares to Google Sync. Was just introduced to it last week and it seems to be doing good so far. I like the merge contact feature :) makes it easy to get rid of duplicate contacts.

One of my biggest pet peeve when it comes to mobile devices is duplicate contacts. Google's Contact system is notorious for this, at least with my contacts. :(
