Not really. Syncing them via iTunes is good enough for me.

I actually find it usefull to download podcasts over the air, especially when I forget to sync with iTunes :)
Having said that I would very much like Apple to concentrate on different things and not on Podcasts...It seems to me that Apple has different priorities..

I would like to see the following happening on the iPhone platform:

Safari must become more stable...I am sick and tired of it crashing all the time
The iPhone OS should be more clever in situations where there is no Cellular signal and perform better. Now when the signal is gone, even opening the calendar or contacts lasts longer...This shouldn't be the case. Even the iPod app becomes slow when there is no signal and listening to music is almost impossible...(many pauses..)
Copy/Paste...Need to say more...
MMS...for the people that need it
SMS forwarding...This feature can be found on mobile phones that were made on the early nineties..
Video recording for the Camera App

That would be my priority list for the iPhone...not podcasts...

Amen.

I have not noticed this at all. Or at least associated it with a change in cell signal strength. I am going to pay attention now.

Copy/Paste...Need to say more... Yes, get it DONE already, Cupertino.

MMS...for the people that need it
SMS forwarding...This feature can be found on mobile phones that were made on the early nineties..
Video recording for the Camera App
On my list, I would place these down the list below the fabled upcoming push notification service. Let's get this done already... lol

I actually find that this has gotten WAY better over time, but it wouldn't hurt for it to be more stable.

Now when the signal is gone, even opening the calendar or contacts lasts longer...This shouldn't be the case. Even the iPod app becomes slow when there is no signal and listening to music is almost impossible...(many pauses..)

Honestly, I just haven't seen this and much of my listening is done on the NYC subway...

Copy/Paste...Need to say more...

I definitely see the need for it, but I'm in no great rush.

MMS...for the people that need it

I'm certainly not one of them. I never send picture messages ever.

SMS forwarding...This feature can be found on mobile phones that were made on the early nineties..

Indeed. That would be nice.

Video recording for the Camera App

And so would that.

I ran into a situation a few months ago where I wanted to listen to a podcast I had forgotten to sync. I was cursing Curpentino up and down for the inability to download podcasts directly to the iPhone. Now I guess I've gotten my wish.

The whole Podcaster debacle makes much more sense now. I knew it would eventually.
