View Full Version : Anything much better than a HP hx4705?

Hi guys,

I have a HP hx4705 and before I sink like $170 into it for a ram upgrade, I wanted to see if there are any PPC choices today that blow it away.

The main thing I like about it is the screen size, color/touch screen, and the blue tooth / WiFi.

Also, if anyone knows a reliable ram upgrader, please let me know.

There's the iPaq 210, due out early next year. 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM, 4" VGA screen, dual slots, the whole nine yards.

The 210 looks like a great unit, although HP has delayed the release until sometime next year. The HTC Advantage looks better than the 4705, but the price tag ($900) puts it in a different class.

In the meantime, I took the plunge and upgraded. PPC Techs (www.ppctechs.com) did an AWESOME job.

James, I was thinking about just upgrading mine, but didn't know what to do and where.

Did you do a ram upgrade with them?
