I have a dell Axim x50v and I am wondering if they have created a gave controller that either attaches itself or uses bluetooth that will make it easier to play games on teh device?

Don't know if this is the only place to get this, or if it is any good. Saw it mentioned a while back, so you should be able to find reviews.

Hello from Edmonton!

There is a Bluetooth game controller available called Freedom Bluetooth Game Pad. Here is the listing for Exansys Canada:

I've ordered one of these yesterday, but haven't received it yet. There were some pretty good reviews when it appeared on the market.

I have done some checking and I think that it may be the only gamepad on the market and their are at least 3 downsides to using it.

1. It takes only 1 AAA buttery which is cool but it only lasts 180 minutes. That means I will need to carry spares. it would be cool if this had lithium or took 2 AAA batteries.

2. It seems that you have to reconfigure it every game you play, even if you play the same game later because it doesn't remember the settings.

3. It doesn't fit the Dell Axim x50v. It is very strange that it does say on that page that it suppports Dell Axim x50. I didn't realize they were different sizes but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves at http://www.pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=reviews&id=651.

Anyone else have any other suggestions on where I can find a gamepad that will work with my PPC?

The only 3 gamepads I have ever seen are this, the benq one and the zeta one and the last 2 are really only HP ipaq specific and plug into their sync slot....

I actually am mad I think they scrapped the one pictured in this thread -

http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=319482

and put in their "new design" in and I hate the new design..... (as you stated size wise it does not work for alot of devices)

I would rather have had them have some type of PDA clips on the top of the gamepad pictured in the other thread to allow you to "mount" different size PDA's to it...

I am still looking for something better than the freedom on as well.
