Need two freebies - Soft Reset and Folder Sizes

I need two free pieces of software.

One to do a soft reset at the touch of an icon. Nothing else. Confirmation of the soft reset a plus. :wink:

Second thing is a free utility that will show folder sizes. I have Resco Explorer but amazingly there is no way to get a QUICK handle on which folders are storage space hogs.

Suggestions? Needs to run on WM5.

On the soft reset, Philippe Majerus's PHM Powertoys (http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/PowerToys/) offers that. BUT, I don't think it's been updated in a while and so may not be WM5 friendly.

psShutXP - is a nice utility that will give you options to do various restarts (http://ppcsoft.narod.ru/english/). And it also skinnable :D

Where is my Ram (WIMR) - is a nice utility that gives sizes of various folders on your device (http://mypaq.net/mobilesoft/wimr/).

Ed, don't you use Pocket Plus? You can stick a reset icon on the Today plug-in or in the close button menu. It's not free, but if you already have the application, it's worth a shot.

No, not any longer. It is just too much for me. I need to update my web page to reflect that. It is no longer the tight little task switcher it used to be.

I haven't tried the toys on a WM5 device, but they still work fine on my 2755, even though they may not be "new" apps.

Hi guys,

You will find that a lot of skinners create skins for psShutXP including Juni, Mikesjo, Lightman, PiXel, duckie etc. because of its ease of skinning. Or there are several standard themes included on their website. Just drop two skins files that you want it to use into its folder and that is it.

Also be careful with the close button as it gives you an option to hard reset. To close the program use "Cancel".
